Manor wing with scenic lake view

Enjoy a spacious manor wing in a classic Swedish countryside setting, with beautiful views over Lake Roxen and the Linköping skyline. The private backyard is peaceful and secluded, with direct access to hilly forests, meadows and the lakeside, as well as a public swimming area within walking distance. Central Linköping is approximately 18 minutes away by car, while Berg Locks on the Göta Canal are only about five minutes away.

On the entrance floor there is a newly renovated kitchen from 2023, a bathroom, a separate laundry room, one bedroom with a double bed and a spacious living room with a sofa bed, electric fireplace and large-screen TV. A bright veranda overlooks Lake Roxen and the surrounding horse paddocks, and outside is a private terrace and lawn – ideal for relaxing, sunbathing or enjoying a BBQ.

The separate laundry room is fully equipped for longer stays with a washing machine, tumble dryer, drying cabinet and drying rack, as well as a sink, mirror and worktop. A private outdoor hot tub is also available; an additional fee may apply.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two single beds overlooking the lake and horse paddocks. By the staircase there is also an open lounge and sleeping area with a comfortable single bed. Together with the sofa bed downstairs, this provides flexible sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Bedrooms 1–3 and the living room have blackout curtains.

The unheated side attics provide plenty of space for luggage and suitcases. One of the storage areas also contains a baby cot and a desk with chair, and additional desks can be arranged if needed.

As a guest, you have private access to the entire manor wing and its backyard. Parking is located approximately 70 metres from the house, but you are welcome to stop directly outside temporarily for loading and unloading. Please also note that the side-by-side refrigerator and freezer do not have the water or ice function connected.

Guests are responsible for cleaning the accommodation before check-out according to the checklist provided in the house. If the accommodation is kept clean and tidy during the stay, the departure cleaning is normally straightforward and quick. The host then checks the accommodation and takes care of the final finishing touches before the next guests arrive.
